John Walker

John is an experienced and versitle designer and programmer. After graduating from Salford University where he studied Graphic Design, he worked in the newly formed Interactive TV department for the BBC. Working as a designer and programmer, John was involved in the development of some of the BBC earliest interactive TV applications including the ground breaking digital text service.

Disillusioned by Interactive TV due to the restrictive technology and slow take up decided to focus on the internet, setting up Your Media Friend. His extensive knowledge of interactive media, audience criteria and creative skills allows him to produce visually stunning designs and his technical abilities see them realized, providing businesses with imaginative and and useable websites, allowing them to open up to new markets worldwide.
